1. I don't play enough to be in GD.

2. I don't like where GD has gone in terms of recruitment.

3. I miss the old days to much. Hard to have my tags on knowing I may not ever see some of the guys I played with when I first joined. Karl and Spliffy just to name a few.

Those are my reasons for leaving. I wish you all the best. I hope I bump into some of you in CoDMW2 until then c yas.




P.S. and no I'm not going to KzN like so many other GD have I am staying clanless for a long while lol Oh also I don't have admin anymore so you don't have to reset the password, not that i would abuse it or anything just a heads up.

Though to be completely honest, there's no playing frequency required to stay in GD, many players have taken hiatuses for months(Karl and Splif,) and nobody ever expected them to be removed. Much to my dismay, even I don't play very often, but it hasn't jeopardized my position here.

As for the recruitment? You're on your own, the old way(6 months of "getting to know a person") was absolutely terrible, I've said that before and I'll say it again.

As for not being able to play with your friends.. I understand that, the game can be a lot more fun when you have somebody to talk to.


Either way, whatever you do, I wish you goodluck out there and have fun.

Sad to hear you go, i know what its like to lose friends online, to other games, etc.

In Bfme a rts game, we had times that i'll never forget, times that cant be repeated. When ever i go back to that game, all my friends on my list of 200, none are ever on. Didnt even have xfire back then , if you need to leave GD thats fine, but try to keep in touch.

By a fluke i added a very old friend, one of my best rts partners, on xfire, life has a way of eventually bringing people back i guess lol.

I felt i needed to share that with all of you , seeing alot are leaving

hmm.. To be honest i agree with hypno, al the old GD members like splif and pred never play anymre and others have left, its just not the same and having this new recruiting thing is like all in a rush if you get me, but i stil dont thnk hypopotamus should quit man

We no longer recruit for 6 months, but we still are very picky. I got in after 4 or so and Sykes after 2-3 and soulja after 3 also. Still a pretty long time.

I was wondering why you were acting so strange earlier when i saw you on Hypno. No big deal if you're leaving though. Gotta do whats right for you. As far as the old timers not playing, you can't expect people to play a game everyday hardcore for over a year and not get bored with it. Thats why people have left. Hell, I took a 6 month break from cod and played WoW and DAoc but meh.

I was treated like a prick in my stay. Almost a full year. I was around for 8 months, only to be cut loose. Do I regret what I did? No. Hyp is right. GD is going the wrong way. No one is on, and to be completely honest, your recruiting seems to be allowing anyone in these days. IMO

I gotta agree with the fact that their are recruitment issues. I've been a T for over 6 months and I'm starting to lose hope. I definitely think I'm good enough but its kinda frustrating seeing guys make it in who signed up after me. Every GD I've scrimmed with has been at least somewhat impressed and told me that I have what it takes. I just hope you guys can put some serious consideration into my application. If you think I'm never gonna make then that's fine let me know but if there is a chance let me know what I gotta do.

And sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but its just what got me thinking about it.

Hmm i dont agree with you honda in part, also i dont completely agree with Tim's idea of recruiting being to long.

Heres the facts that i know

Tim has been a T for over 6 months, he also has proved to me to be a very decent guy, that isnt cocky, doesnt talk back, very skilled, and a patient mature T.

Last night Tim came very, no extremely close to beating me 1v1, he didnt even complain about what name i was under, since alot did. I have to say of all the T's Tim and Bloop stand out the most, they are not whiney, braty T's that always say "oh i have a shit score" or "oh wtf this is bs" or the worst " wow gay lag".

Tim should come to tryouts, whenever he can make it, to show that he is capable of becoming GD and to show that hes a good player that likes to have fun.

All the terrible traits you described about T's metal, thats me! wohoo lol. ill work on the complaining.

Hey guys, Metal thanks for the compliment, and i just got mumble working, WOOT. but need the info. I have seen hyp around and he seemed nice, sad to see anyone leave this kinda of family. But anyway, i think GD is going in a STRONG direction. its hard to recover when old timers stop playing but what i have seen GD has been smart about it and are letting in the BEST players, as honda says
