the heart of it all a Phenom IIx4 955 BE 3.2ghz oc to 4.2ghz
crap wireless mouse i need replaced and same with keyboard
broke my head set mic
oh led feet on my comp
no mouse pad either lol
Even w/o oc the 955 OWNED the 920 i7 in benchmarks for my machine, since i make real use of the dragon platform. With it oc to 4.2ghz i can easily play with the big boys no problem, also the 965 will be coming out shortly or it is now 3.4ghz.
Nvidia also fails in comparison to my 2 4870x2's, for a much cheapier price than 2 295's, i get 4 power hungry gpus which own the 295's. Not to mention the valued dragon platform, im proud of this pc, saved alot of money and its still able to compete with some of the better ones for alot more money. I see so many saying in benchmark tests that the i7 and geforce combo is better than the radeon and Phenom II, i think they are wrong. They say they built it on the same budget but i doubt that, they started with the i7 build then went to amd. course theres only so much after that, it should of been the other way around. Build an i7 on an AMD budget, i bet you any money that they are either going to be dead even or the AMD slightly more ahead.
As of right now i havent seen one non oc 920 i7 beat my machines benchmarks on oc.
